Sale Terms & Conditions
Any person attending this sale does so at his or her own risk. The terms of the sale are cash, and all settlements must be made at the close of the auction. The auctioneer has final sale call. All sales are final.
We would like all horses to be picked up within one week of sale date unless prior arrangements have been made. Buyer must make arrangements with the seller at a reasonable rate per day for care of the horses until they can be picked up.
Bids
Persons unable to attend the sale may give bids via DVAuction, phone, or mail to the ranch or auctioneer. All bids will be handled in strict confidence. Please make arrangements with the ranch before the day of the sale if you would like to phone bid. This will eliminate any confusion sale day. The sale location has good cell phone service, mainly Verizon.
Please note that if you are a new customer to our sale, we may ask for a bank reference if you wish to bid by phone.
Registration & Transfer
All horses sell registered with the American Quarter Horse Association. Buyers will be mailed the horse’s registration papers and transfer forms. It is up to the buyer to transfer his/her horse with the AQHA. Please note that the AQHA has a high volume of registrations during the fall and foal papers can take into the winter months to receive.
Lunch
Complimentary lunch served beginning at 12 noon.
Transportation
Several major airlines serve the Bismarck, ND airport. Small planes may land in Bismarck or McLaughlin, SD. We will meet your flight if you give us advance notice.
Announcements
Any announcement made from the block on sale day takes precedence over printed material. Please remember the photographs of the colts were taken in late July, so the maturity level will change and the color of the colts may change by sale day.
